Decidedto pick up the Magsafe Duo Charger from Apple a couple of days ago without knowing about the Nightstand Mode which I really liked. The first night I used the charger the display stayed on the whole night in Nightstand Mode. Last night when I put the watch on the charger the display switched to Nightstand Mode, but only stayed on for OpenSettings > Display & Brightness > Always On Display and toggle off the Always On Display option. This will disable the feature and ensure your phone screen turns off as it always has. If you Enablethe setting for Weather. On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: Settings > General > Background App Refresh: Check that Background App Refresh is enabled. Enable the setting for Weather. On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Weather > Default City > choose Current Location. Hardreset the watch. Power off both the phone and the watch, then power on the phone then the watch. Turn off nightstand mode and then turn it back on. Change the orientation of the watch on the charger. After putting the watch on the charger, tip it up to vertical until it goes into nightstand mode. None of that worked. Watchdisplay works fine . To save battery life, the display is completely dark when: • Your iPhone is lying face down. • Your iPhone is in your pocket or bag. • Sleep Focus is on. • Low Power Mode is on. • Your iPhone is connected to CarPlay. 2gAKr. Fromthere, force touch the screen by pressing down hard enough until your watch vibrates. You'll get two options that appear on the screen: “Grid View” and “List View”. Every time I attempt to "force touch the screen by pressing down hard enough" the option to switch to list view does not appear. Instead, the icons vibrate.
